Sin or a Cure? (argumentative essay)

The Two Child Policy is a law that began in China. This law emphasizes that each family must only have two children. Although the church disagree with this Two Child Policy law because they believe that people should multiply as much as they can, this policy is a practical way to make our country a better place because a) it prevents poverty b) it reduces overpopulation and c) it promotes a steady labor rate.

Worldwide Research (2006) said that, many philosophers in China like Confucius and Lao Tzu believed that this kind of law can prevent poverty. When Two Child Policy is implemented, many families can provide for themselves because they will no longer have to worry about their expenses. We can also say that there will be an increase in the number of children going to school because parents will no longer worry about which school they will send their children if they are only two. It can also lessen our environmental issues. People will no longer fight for their properties which often results in engaging in acts like illegal logging because now, they have their own savings when Two Child Policy is implemented.

Obviously, Two Child Policy law can reduce the population growth in our country. People can find a decent home to live in because as we can see, overpopulated countries like the Philippines have a very big problem in terms of shelter because many people have no private properties. It can also lessen the demand of food and medicine. In this case, we can save enough money for our future.

Lastly, the Two Child Policy can help stabilize our labor rate. It can also reduce unemployment in our country because when people are educated enough, there is a big chance that they can go to work. According to the survey in Japan, there are only 8% of unemployed workers in their country (Oklahoma Wed, 2008). It only says that if there are few unemployed workers, our government can decrease our taxes because many people can work for their country. Can you see the benefits when Two Child Policy is implemented? Always remember that unemployment can result in poverty, and poverty can result in overpopulation.

The Two Child Policy law should be implemented in our country because it can help us to have a descent life. We can say that the church also has a point regarding its belief that man and woman should multiply as many as they can. However, we must take into consideration its practicality. The Two Child Policy can help in the development and progress of our country.
